One rainy Tuesday our main driver called in sick with a load leaving in an hour and I had to reshuffle everything on the fly. I'm an owner-operator with three trucks and nine years in the Southeast, so last-minute swaps are just part of the job - what actually made me smile was how fast Dr Dispatch let me reassign the load and push the trip details out by text. Two clicks later the replacement driver had the pickup info, the e-docs were already prefilled, and we pulled out on time instead of eating a detention fee.
