Jennie Crona's review of BulkLoads TMS
Liked that BulkLoads actually surfaces hopper and grain work near our yards, but it let us down when timing mattered. We run 40 trucks across the Midwest, and when a booked load evaporated an hour before pickup last harvest it cascaded into driver reassignments and extra deadhead that ate our margins. Their in-platform messaging is inconsistent - some shippers answer right away, others go silent and contact info turns out to be outdated. On the upside I grabbed a 300-mile backhaul out of Illinois that kept a unit working for two days, so the market there is real when you find it. I’ll keep it in the mix as a secondary channel, but not something I depend on for tight schedules.
